It is very difficult to stop impressing you hear a preview of those of only twenty seconds. Something very magical has to happen to think that "this issue will surely be my favorite album." I remember this happened with 'Anthology' Thrice and so much more recent, with 'Age Of Worry' by John Mayer. This new issue, which is listed as the second in the track list that makes up "Born and Raised" is less than three minutes but walked off as one of the best cuts that Mayer has built in the latter stage of his life.
The concern, that emotional state that appears regularly in this age of crisis in which we are immersed, is the main protagonist of 'Age Of Worry'. Even so, far from being negative, John Mayer would like to turn the tables to show that we have reason to smile and to fight against pessimism. All tacking through a melody that comes out of nowhere from the second 14 and is able to beautify even the saddest of landscapes.
If you are fans of John Mayer and you delay in hearing this. No guitar solos, riffs nor blueseros. But vibrates (as ever!) The heart of our admired singer.
