Bon Iver show the video of 'Towers'. A journey through the beauty

Bon Iver still insists on his particular race to color a universe all its own. The architect who builds monuments dreamlike beauty. The magnificent craftsman who uses the concept of pilgrimage in his artistic idea. The draftsman instead of using bevel square and uplifting guitar lines, steamy atmospheres, sound stages filled with crude colors, earth tones and orchestral tints.

All this prose and persecution plastic construction can be seen in the new video that Bon Iver has been submitted for 'Towers', one of the most achieved and outstanding and its almost classical album 'Bon Iver' (Jagjaguwar, 2011). Here we see a beautiful and meticulous cinematography, bathed in bright autumn light heavy weight. Large flat where we are imposing landscapes that cut the air. A character out of an imaginary novel "boniverista" with the self-characterization based lumberjack shirt, "cabañismo" anarchic beard and hair populated capsized. All scenes and scenarios serve to accompany this character on his way to a dream. Pilgrimage to the artistic ideal, again. The fortified place and have to build their own, despite the distances that have to travel and means of transport have to use. A trip blowing beauty and poetic, with a dose of tragedy and desplomante final.

In short, a brilliant tour. So and so lucid. To somewhere a bit inaccurate but also very clear. Why in the way of the dream of Wisconin architect does not matter where you want to go, but be clear in what ways is to move and insist, wander through plasticity, beauty and very good manners.

Bruce Springsteen talks about "Wrecking Ball" in Paris

Bruce Springsteen in Paris on Thursday presented his new album, Wrecking Ball, which goes on sale on March 6, in an interview with French journalist Antoine de Caunes (who, it seems, is a big fan of New Jersey) .

In addition to talking a bit about the eleven songs that comprise his seventeenth studio work, Springsteen took a moment to remember the sadly late Clarence "Big Man" Clemmons, stating that for him his loss was devastating: "Losing is like losing Clarence the rain, "he said to remember. Obama also discussed, indicating that still is on their side, although no longer actively participate in the upcoming presidential campaign.

Although theoretically Springsteen's label has banned any criticism of the disc until next Feb. 27, some media have released some touches on this new job. Andy Gill, The Independent, for example, calls him "a passionate mix of powerful sound of Springsteen with muscular rock-folk, gospel music and Irish rebel."

Grails: The Colors Of The Dark

Just to emphasize again here: The GRAILS part of the delicate ones, that which is currently moving through the sound world out there! "Deep Politics" the Portland quintet 2011 has once again hit a hook and make various stylistic expectations come to nothing. Instead of a poor imitation of the great "Doomsdayer's Holiday" to lie, they are responsible for the production of their new album once again back and traveled through time and space to deal with an enormous amount of finesse and detail a variety of influences - The palette ranges from Middle Eastern music and 60s-psych up 70s TV series melodies and western soundtracks - in their psychedelic sound mix weave. With grandiose string arrangements by Timb Harris (MASTER MUSICIANS OF BUKKAKE, SECRET CHIEFS 3, Estradasphere, etc.)! Unusual and intense!

Opera, seductive

In Munich's smallest opera house, the Pasinger factory, runs until 26 February, the second series of the acclaimed Don Giovanni directed by Julia Dippel, in June, 2011 premiere.

Don Giovanni is a seducer, who, without the daily challenge of conquering a woman who can no longer define themselves. He also leaves his wife, Donna Elvira in the wedding night are easy, because the goal is reached. Why did he ever married is a mystery. He tries to Donna Anna, his servant Leporello must be dope. Donna Anna does not quite know their cries wake the father, who then is killed by Don Giovanni. He leaves behind a broken Donna Anna, Don Ottavio, whose fiance revenge for the death of his father-in-law swears. His next target is none other than Donna Elvira, whom he does not recognize. Quite forgetful type. No wonder that Leporello tries to Elvira with a reference to the numerous love affairs (Italy 640, Germany 230, France 100, Persia, 90, Spain 1003, the man comes around) to comfort the DG. The third victim will eventually be Zerlina, which is on the verge of marriage to Masetto. Leporello again must serve to distract the jealous husband fast. In the end, however, a DG takes his selfish behavior, because all, including the dead father's plot against him.

Lively it is because the "opera of operas", which is certainly the excellent German text modernized version of the director to owe - and the fact that text is sung very understandable. Martin Steinlein conducted the orchestra at the conductor's podium in chamber music ensembles excellent singer and very friendly. Almost in passing, he also accompanied the recitatives and plays with a little bit. This is one of the major advantages of the production, she plays with the venue and all persons present. Since the beginning of Donna Elvira wanders about and shows a photo of DGs, as are the aisles for the additional stage, there must ever seen a woman in the audience to the front and anschmachten of DG can.

The stage is simple, a staircase that leads to a platform on which a bed is available. Side before the orchestra is placed. This provides for optimum acoustics, at least at my place. The audience consists of many bistro tables to be seated in groups of four. Here is eaten and drunk during the opera, just as in the early days of musical theater. There is surprisingly quiet and you can enjoy the night without being disturbed. The costumes are classic and timeless, just like the story.

An important point for the success of an opera singer, the evening and they were that night good to very good. It had the men in the lead, especially Sebastian Campione as Don Giovanni. His strong, but pleasantly soft voice was perfect for the seductive role and safely melted so many women's hearts in the audience. His duet with Diana Marina Fischer who led the women's squad as Zerlina, singing La ci darem la mano, here in Italian / English / German, was one of the highlights of the evening. Also a very good performance offered Phillip Gaiser as Leporello, Wilko Döring as Commendatore / Masetto and Adrian Sandu as Don Ottavio. Julia Chalfin impressed as Donna Elvira and Ikumu Mizushima added splendidly in this high-class ensemble.

This production is especially for opera newcomers useful since this is connected with the advantages of the great opera smallest opera house: it is generally somewhat informal, it is closer, it is less rigid than, for example at the National Theatre. Tickets reduced from 21 €, ticket of Munich.

So dear reader,...

As some of you have noticed certain was going on "between the years" less honest. The problem at the time is just simply stad'n but that they get the most stressful time in the whole year is ... Christmas, department food, gifts ... everything as simple as net yet to find time to blog.
Aaaber which should be no excuse for anything ... ;-)
The first thing I want to first wish you a happy and healthy new year 2010 ... so to speak, a new decade (I do not know why, but we now simply go to the 10-points) :-) I have been informed today by the way, that it to 15 January in order that you wish a happy new. Phew ... that was close ... ;-)

I hope all of you had a good clean. Personally, I was in London and have since spent a wonderful five days with my treasure * wink * and marvel at one of the hottest fireworks have my life to. Some may perhaps have seen excerpts einpaar already on TV. If not ... here again a record of the entire "show":

We were standing at the foot of Big Ben and it was really impressive. I was very pleasantly surprised from the fact that there seems to buy in England no fireworks in the trade. Have at least in the markets in London and seen nowhere that even when we were on the Thames had to be careful not that any one wag so tossing a thing between the legs. So, no "war conditions" that prevail at New Year's Eve in some German city.

The supporting program is to say, though ... that was a little ore averages. The viewing area true well-sonicated and the music quite well the masses, which of course is not a seal, but what do you expect with such a big event already ... BUT, the DJ, something like a jack of the BBC was just time really bottom drawer . The times were really garnix. My tip for next year: Does ne Winamp playlist, here with nice fade in and fade-out makes you a few thoughts about it that you sing maybe bring style into ne good order can and PLEASE buy the guy on this year the controllers sit, DJ Hero, or otherwise any part of which he is abgelengt.

Well well ... einwas have to keep him then too good. He chose a beautiful song as the opening song for 2010: Live Forever by Oasis
May start the year! And with the song, of course, the acoustic version, I am now verabschied times for this blog!
